How do I change the name of my account?
To change the name of an account, for example to tell the difference between a bills account and a number two account, contact any branch or Telephone Banking (if you're registered). You'll get a new chequebook, paying-in book (if you have one) and bank card within five working days.
If you're an Openplan Savings customer, you can rename your savings pots in Online Banking. These names will be used whenever you contact us. Log-in and select 'Customise my online account settings' and 'I name this account' from the menu and choose your new names. You can also set nicknames on all your accounts, which will be used whenever you use Online Banking.
