How do I get a reminder if I’ve forgotten my debit card PIN?
Your debit card PIN
If you’ve forgotten or lost your PIN, you can get a reminder instantly. You just need to have Online Banking or Telephone Banking.
Log in to Online Banking and then select the 'Account services' menu in the top blue bar. Then select the 'View my debit card PIN' link (1) and follow the on-screen instructions. You’ll also need to have the mobile phone you've previously registered with us as your mobile number handy.
Call Telephone Banking on 0345 734 5345 and have your passcode ready. (Outside the UK dial +44 24 7684 2100.) Listen for the correct option and follow the instructions. Or, if you don't have your passcode to hand, you can speak to us directly using the 'Call Us' button in Barclays Mobile Banking *.
Don’t have Online or Telephone Banking? You need to visit your branch and ask for a PIN reminder. This will be sent by post to the residential address you’ve registered with us to protect your security.
If you've locked your debit card by entering an incorrect PIN, you can still use these options to get a PIN reminder. You'll then need to go to a Barclays cash machine to unlock your card.
Your Barclaycard PIN
You can get an instant reminder of your Barclaycard PIN online if you’re registered for mybarclaycard. Alternatively, call 0870 154 0154.
