I've been asked to take ID to open an account or withdraw money. What should I take?
Government regulations spell out the identification you're required to produce. You need to be able to prove who you are and where you live. The documents should also be originals - not photocopies. See a list of the ID you should produce. If you're applying for a joint account, we will need this identification from both of you.
