Ask a question

What are bank working days?

A lot of bank processes, such as clearing a payment, only happen during bank working days. At Barclays, these are Monday to Friday (except bank holidays).

Some branches open on Saturdays and Sundays, but these aren't classed officially for processing as bank working days.

How to find branch opening times:

Our branch locator also lists opening times. Search for a branch near you (1) and then select the one you want from the results (2). The opening hours will be shown (3) along with the facilities available (4). Note that regular opening hours are subject to last-minute changes.
