What happens if I lose or break my PINsentry card reader?
It’s not much fun seeing your PINsentry card reader crushed under the wheels of a car but if you do break or lose it, we can send you a new one. There is a charge though and we’ll let you know what it is when you contact us.
Call the Online Banking Helpdesk on 0845 600 2323* (outside the UK dial +44 2476 842063) and they’ll sort things for you. The lines are open Monday to Sunday 7am-11pm.
You can also visit your nearest branch to order a new card reader.
If you need to log in to Online Banking before your new card reader arrives, you can either borrow a card reader from someone else or log in using Basic Access. Alternatively, you can manage your money by visiting your branch or calling Telephone Banking on 08457 555555* if you’re registered.
