What is a Travel Money Card and where can I get one?
The Travel Money Card is a great way to carry and spend cash abroad. It allows you to pre-load US dollars, euros or sterling on to a card that you can use with a PIN number where VISA is accepted. You can buy the card in any Barclays branch - a Personal Banker will be happy to place your order.
The Travel Money Card is only available to existing Barclays customers/account holders. If you’re already a Barclays customer you just need your account details and a debit or credit card in your name. You can then load from £100 to £2,500 on to your Card. If you use a Barclays debit card to pay for your order you will not be charged a fee. The cash advance fee charged by credit card providers and other debit card providers will vary.
