How do I get an Online Banking membership number?
To get a membership number, you need to register for Premier Online Banking. If you haven't registered yet, you can join Premier Online Banking now. You must be aged 16 or over and have a Barclays UK Premier current account. You can register online if you have a Premier debit card. If you don't have a card, call the Online Banking Helpdesk on 0845 600 2323 (outside the UK dial +44 2476 842063)* or contact your local branch.
Once registered, you will get a 12-digit membership number and a PINsentry card reader. Your card reader will arrive by post for security reasons. With your membership number you can access a limited online service. The full service will be available once you log-in with your PINsentry.
During log-in, you may save your 12-digit membership number on the computer so you don't have to type it every time you use Online Banking. You should not do this if you're using a computer in a public place, such as an internet cafe.
Only joint accounts where either party can sign are eligible for Online Banking and each person will have to register for Online Banking separately for security reasons.
If you've forgotten your log-in details, we can remind you online provided you have a debit card.
